Chicago

My mom and I usually spend our holidays in Chicago since 3 out of her 4 siblings live in Illinois and it’s an easy drive for my brother and his wife to meet us. Mike joined us last year and he finally got to meet my entire family 🙈 On the day Mike arrived, the temperature drastically dropped and it was honestly the coldest winter I’ve experienced in all my years spending the holidays out there. Quite a welcome as Mike’s first visit to the Windy City lol but we still had a great time. Chicago’s a busy city and there were lotsa activities to do that kept us warm and toasty indoors.

Spending the holidays in Chicago is always special but having Mike there was the icing, sprinkles and syrup on the Christmas cake.
